This week marks a significant milestone in the ongoing development of Dompé’s 170.000 square meter manufacturing hub in L’Aquila, a long-standing industry leader in the production of synthetic and biotechnological pharmaceuticals.

Last week, a new production line for syrups and mouthwashes began operations, bringing the total number of production lines to nine and further strengthening the facility’s operational capacity and flexibility.

"This new line will help us respond to market demands more in a more targeted way, while maintaining our commitment to manufacturing excellence and customer service,” says Stefano Arena, Chief Industrial Officer of Dompé pharmaceuticals.


This strategic investment represents a major advancement in the facility's evolution, reinforcing Dompé's commitment to innovation, quality, and the development of cutting-edge solutions for both domestic and international pharmaceutical markets.

The launch of the new line is the culmination of two years of intensive collaboration with specialized manufacturing companies, whose technical expertise has been instrumental in developing the state-of-the-art facility.

The new plant encompasses 600 square meters and achieves production rates of over 10,000 bottles per hour. Equipped with a next-generation unitary assurance system, the new line ensures a significant increase in productivity while maintaining Dompé’s exceptional quality standards.
