Steve Rempel

Chief Technology Officer

Steve Rempel is an international technology executive with extensive experience leading technology strategy, digital transformation and organizational change across global retail, healthcare and consumer businesses.

As Chief Technology Officer at Dompé, Steve is responsible for technology across the Group’s global operations. His focus includes advancing technology capabilities, modernizing enterprise platforms and leveraging data, digital innovation, and artificial intelligence to support business performance and long-term growth.

Prior to joining Dompé, Steve served as SVP & International CIO of Walgreens Boots Alliance, where he held senior technology leadership responsibilities across multiple businesses and international markets. He previously served as CIO of Rite Aid Corporation and President & CEO of the software company Balance Innovations.

Throughout his career, Steve has combined strategic leadership with hands-on experience in enterprise transformation, technology governance, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and large-scale technology operations.

Steve holds an MBA from Auburn University and a BBA from the University of the Fraser Valley.
